GUWAHATI: The State BJP is preparing public rallies and meetings in full swing to increase its organizational strength for the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections in 2024. Leaders of various political parties are continuing to join the BJP. The party is holding workers’ meetings and mass rallies in several assembly constituencies, including BTR and Upper Assam.

State BJP spokesperson, Rupam Goswami, said, “Since the last few days, Minister Ashok Singhal in Doomdooma, Dhekiajuli, Tezpur, Barpeta, and Kokrajhar; Minister Jayanta Mallabaruah at Kokrajhar and Nalbari; Minister Pijush Hazarika Bhergaon at Kokrajhar; Mahmora, Sonari, Nazira, Thowra; Minister Ranjit Das in Baksa; Minister Ajanta Neog at Goreswar and Tamulpur; and Minister Dr. Ranoj Pegu at Kokrajhar have participated in various workers’ meetings and public rallies.”

Goswami further stated, “The acceptance by the people in every meeting that the party has organized has increased dramatically, resulting in party workers being enthusiastic and active. The entire country has achieved comprehensive development under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Under the influence of the Double Engine government, every person in the state has been able to benefit from the welfare schemes. Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma’s strong performance has attracted the attention of every part of the state. As a result, it is certain that people’s votes will be in favour of the BJP in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The BJP has been strengthening the party at the grassroots level in 40 council constituencies of BTAD. The BJP has already appointed 40 in charge in every council constituency of BTAD, and these in charge visited every booth and completed the booth empowerment campaign.”

Goswami added, “A public rally was organized at Parbatjhora in Kokrajhar Lok Sabha constituency where Cultural Minister Bimal Bora, MLA Hemanga Thakuria, former MLA Banendra Mushahary, and other leaders were present on Monday. Bimal Bora will also be participating in a public rally in the Baokhungri assembly constituency. Pijush Hazarika attended a public rally in the newly constituted assembly constituency of Tangla, and at that rally, MP Dilip Saikia and MLA Jitu Goswami were also present. A public rally will be held at Majbat on Tuesday, where Minister Ranoj Pegu will be participating.
