Assam DGP Bhaskar Jyoti Mahanta shifted to GMCH

GUWAHATI: State DGP Bhaskar Jyoti Mahanta, who was in home isolation for testing COVID-19 positive on Monday, was shifted to the GMCH (Gauhati Medical College and Hospital) on Tuesday. In the social media, the DGP requested all those who came in contact with him in the past few days to conduct their COVID-19 test. "Our awareness will prevent corona infections. Stay healthy, be careful and follow the health rules," he said.
