Assam government shuffles bureaucrats

GUWAHATI: The Personnel department of the State government shuffled a few of its top-level officers with immediate effect. While Purabi Konwar, CEO of Dhubri Zila Parishad and Project Director of DRDA, Dhubri has been transferred and posted as Nalbari Deputy Commissioner, Nalbari Deputy Commissioner and GAD Secretary Bharat Bhushan Dev Choudhury has been relieved from the additional charge of Deputy Commissioner of the district. The transfer order of Udalguri Deputy Commissioner Prakash Ranjan Gharphalia has been cancelled. Administrative Reforms and Training and Assam State Information Commission Joint Secretary Pranjit Gogoi has been transferred and posted as the Secretary of the Assam State Election Commission.
