Assam Govt partially modifies Durga Puja guidelines for restaurants

Guwahati: The government of Assam has partially modified the COVID-19 guidelines for Durga Puja. In a notification, the health and family welfare department has extended the timings for the restaurants during the festive season.

Earlier, the restaurants were directed to remain open till 9 pm. In the revised guidelines, the restaurants can remain open till 10.30 pm. The government issued the new notification on Thursday.

The government has issued various guidelines to be followed during the celebrations and appealed the citizens of the state to follow the COVID-19 protocols.
