Assam Higher Secondary Education Council provides last chance for form submission by schools

GUWAHATI: The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) has offered a final opportunity for form submission to students who failed to submit their respective forms within the stipulated deadline of December 15 last for appearing in the Higher Secondary (HS) final examination 2023. The AHSEC has "positively" fixed January 20 and January 21 next as the final dates for offline submission of forms for appearing in the HS final examination 2023.

A Notification issued in this regard by the AHSEC, however, mentions that only the heads of institutions or their authorized representatives will be allowed to fill up the relevant forms on behalf of the students concerned, and "in no case, an individual student will be allowed to fill up his/her form in the Council". As such, the Notification stipulated that authorized personnel of the institutions concerned will have to approach the Examination Branch of the AHSEC on January 20 or January 21while carrying their official seal.

It may be mentioned that the AHSEC has already announced the schedule for the HS examination 2023. The examination will commence on the February 20 and conclude on March 20 next. The practical examinations will be held between January 25 and February 15.
