Assam Police arrested two more in Indrani Tahbildar case

GUWAHATI: Two more have been arrested in connection with Indrani Tahbildar’s photo case. After several hours of interrogation, Chandmari Police arrested Rekhanta Deori and Ashim Chakrabarty.

Earlier, Diban Deka was arrested on Friday after a day-long interrogation. All three have been produced before the CJM court and given seven days police custody.

According to sources, another accused, Abhimanyu Das, has been on the run since the suicide case came to light. The police suspected that he went into hiding in Nepal.
