Assam Police personnel loses 23 staffers to COVID; ADGP

GUWAHATI: A total of 4,879 Assam Police personnel have tested positive from COVID-19 till October 26, said ADGP (Additional Director General of Police) GP Singh. The ADGP took to his twitter handle and informed the people that the Assam Police has lost 23 staff from the dreaded virus till October 26. He said the recovery rate among those infected is 99 per cent. Out of the total personnel who tested positive, 4,831 have recovered and 4,819 have rejoined duties.
