Assam Police urges citizens not to share rumours about child lifters

GUWAHATI: Assam Police have requested that all citizens to be vigilant enough to detect any kind of rumours related to child lifters in various parts of the state. Citizens are requested not to forward or share any kind of unverified rumors about child kidnappers.

The Assam Police said through social media stating, "Some rumours about child lifters have again begun doing the rounds in various parts. Citizens are requested not to forward or share unverified rumours about child kidnappers. If you see someone promoting or sharing such rumours, kindly inform us immediately. We remain committed to ensuring the safety of all our children and citizens."
