Assam Pradesh Congress Committee organizes march in support of Rahul Gandhi

GUWAHATI: The Assam Pradesh Congress Committee organized a solidarity march to express its support for Rahul Gandhi. They also engaged in sloganeering against the Central Government and mentioned that steps had been taken with the aim of suppressing Rahul Gandhi.

Hundreds of Congress members and supporters assembled at Rajiv Bhawan in Guwahati to march towards the state secretariat as a mark of protest. But the police did not allow the protesters to move toward Dispur and deployed barricades and personnel to the same effect.
