Assam Pradesh Congress Committee wants MP and MLA to see the plight of city roads

GUWAHATI: Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) secretary Gaurav Somani told MP Queen Oja and MLA Siddharth Bhattacharjee to visit and see the pathetic condition of various roads in Guwahati, including AT Road.

Somani said, "It is shocking that the local MPs and MLAs of Guwahati have completely turned a blind eye to the problems in Guwahati city. We want to give them a free tour of Guwahati city so that they can be made aware and get a feel of the pathetic road condition of the entire Guwahati city. Large potholes have formed on the roads of the city and people are facing a lot of trouble."

Somani said that Guwahati is the gateway of the Northeast. "The government is spending crores of rupees in the name of Guwahati Smart City, but the situation is the opposite," Somani said.
