Assam Rifles lecture on first aid at Government High School, Laki

GUWAHATI: Lunglei Battalion of the Assam Rifles under the aegis of 23 Sector Assam Rifles/Inspector General of Assam Rifles (East) conducted a lecture on first aid on at Government High School, Laki on Wednesday, stated a press release.

The lecture was aimed to raise awareness of the importance of first aid as the local populace of Laki village resides in a difficult terrain with dense jungle and they often get injured while farming, fishing and hunting. A total of 25 students attended the lecture.

Covering various commonly inflicted injuries and measures to prevent it, students were imparted health care tips to protect themselves and their families from common water-borne diseases.
