Atul Bora appeals to AGP members to help flood-affected areas of Assam

GUWAHATI: The president of Asom Gana Parishad, Atul Bora, has appealed to the members of his party across the state to help those who are facing the perils of the first round of flooding this year. The minister put forward this appeal to all members and officeholders of the party as well as its sister organisations. The minister has taken this step in view of the recent damages caused by floods across the state, which have affected several districts of the state. People have been left without any support at multiple locations, while many more locations have seen massive losses to livestock and agriculture. He added that it is the moral responsibility of each member and official of the organisation to stay by the side of those in peril and provide any necessary help.
