Awareness programme on 'Women Leadership' organized in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: To commemorate the International Women's Day, Mission Pragya (Empowering womenhood and young minds), a registered NGO of SMC'89, GUWAHATI, organized an awareness programme 'Women in Leadership; In Achieving Equal Future' in collaboration with Pandu College in Guwahati on Monday.

The guest of honour of the programme was Leena Sharma, renowned writer and motivational speaker, Anurita Pathak, State Coordinator, NEN (Resource Person)

The programme was attended by a large number of students of the college.

The theme of International Women's Day 2021 – Women in Leadership: In Achieving an Equal Future — was introduced to the students by Anurita Pathak, who urged them to take a pledge to always stand up for their rights. The real life experiences, and wisdom shared by Leena Sharma were also very inspiring, stated a release.
