Benefits to National Commission for Safai Karmacharis (NCSK) reviewed

GUWAHATI: The Chairman of the National Commission for Safai Karmacharis (NCSK), Manhar Valgi Bhai Zala reviewed the latest position of conversion of insanitary latrines to sanitary latrines, both in urban and rural areas, survey of manual scanvengers and providing of financial benefits to the manual scavengers at a meeting here on February 19, 2020. The meeting was also attended by Swami Sadanand Maharaj, member of the National Commission for Safai Karmacharis; State Social Welfare Department’s Principal Secretary B Kalyan Chakraborty; WPT & BC Commissioner and Secretary Dr. M Angamuthu and others, a press release said.
