Bhagaduttapur police arrested Fraudster for duping job aspirants

The Bhagaduttapur police arrested a fraudster for duping several job aspirants on the pretext of providing them jobs in Jyoti Chitrabon Film Studio in Kahilipara. The fraudster is identified as Markunda Hira, alias Raj Das. Based on the complaint lodged by the victims, he was arrested. He hails from Santola Kamrup district.

GUWAHATI: The Bhagaduttapur police arrested a fraudster for duping several job aspirants on the pretext of providing them jobs in Jyoti Chitrabon Film Studio in Kahilipara. The fraudster is identified as Markunda Hira, alias Raj Das. Based on the complaint lodged by the victims, he was arrested. He hails from Santola Kamrup district. He was arrested from his rented place in Geetanagar.

According to the sources, Vidyasagar, the chairman of Jyoti Chitrabon film studio, informed the police regarding the duping of people and promising them jobs like receptionists, security guards, etc. In this regard, a case has been registered at Dispur Police Station. He was produced in court on Monday and is now in judicial custody.
