BJP hails Swamy Vivekananda Assam Youth Empowerment Scheme

GUWAHATI: The Swamy Vivekananda Assam Youth Empowerment (SVAYEM) Scheme that was announced by Dispur is a historic decision, said State BJP president Ranjeet Kumar Dass.

In a statement issued to the press on Sunday, Dass said, "This scheme will achieve a mile stone in making Antanirbhor Asom. The spending of Rs 1,000 crore from the State exchequer for making youths self-reliant in the State bears testimony to the accountability of the State government to the youth. I appeal to all youths of the State to come forward to avail the opportunities offered under the scheme."
