Guwahati:
This morning at 9.40 am the body of the
departed former Assam Chief Minister
Tarun Gogoi was moved from Guwahati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) to his
official residence in Dispur.
The body of the former three-time Chief Minister of the state will be kept at his official residence, Dispur only for his family and relatives to pay their last respect and after that, the body will be taken to Janata Bhawan. And finally to the Srimanta Sankardeva Kalakeshtra, Panjabari at 4.00 pm.
The body of the departed senior political leader and statesman, Tarun Gogoi will be kept at Srimanta Sankardeva Kalakeshtra for the day for his well-wishers and supporters to pay their last respect.
Gogoi's body has been moved from GMCH in a van decorated with tons of flowers.
Gogoi's last rites will be performed on November 26, 2020.
