Bollywood star Akshay Kumar to be invited to Kaziranga National Park in 2021

The director of Kaziranga National Park (KNP), Assam, P Shivakumar, on Tuesday
announced that Bollywood megastar Akshay Kumar would be invited to the park
next year.
The actor would most likely be asked to visit between
February and March.
A road has been constructed in the parks cluster of Badordubi from the funds which Akshay Kumarn had donated during the Assam floods in July 2019. The route will be used as Highland to provide shelter to wildlife during the flood season.
Apart from that two electric boats which have been
named 'Akshay Rath' will be provided that will be used as relief camps.
A new model of water conservation will also be
constructed from the funds donated by the actor in kukurakata hill near the
tiger project area, P Shivakumar added.
During the flood in Assam last year the Actor sharing his feeling on the Assam flood he donated 1 crore for Kaziranga Park rescue. He took to Twitter back in July and wrote, "Absolutely heart-breaking to know about the devastation by floods in Assam. All affected, humans or animals, deserve support in this hour of crisis. I'd like to donate 1cr each to the CM Relief Fund & for the Kaziranga Park rescue. Appealing to all to contribute."
The National Park is one of the major tourist
attractions in the country. After the smooth completion of all the work, the
Kaziranga National Park authorities will invite the actor to Kaziranga.
Kaziranga National Park a world heritage site is
renowned for the Great Indian one-horned rhinoceros, the scenery of Kaziranga
is of sheer forest, tall elephant grass, rugged reeds, marshes & small
pools. It was declared a National Park in 1974.
