GUWAHATI: With rains in the last few days, the Brahmaputra River is still flowing above the danger mark in several places of the city on Wednesday. According to a report by the ASDMA (Assam State Disaster Management Authority), the water level of Brahmaputra, near DC court was at 49.80 metre high. It is to be noted that the danger mark of the river near the DC court is 49.68.

Several other areas in the city have also recorded increase in water level. The areas include - Bharalu, Mora Bharalu, and Bahini. Among other places across the State - Nimati Ghat in Jorhat, Tezpur and Jia Bharali near NT Road crossing in Sonitpur, Kapili at Kampur, and Dharampul in Nagaon have recorded increase in water level.
