Brahmaputra Water level rising fast in Guwahati city

GUWAHATI: The water level of the Brahmaputra is rising fast and is likely to flow above the danger mark in the next two days in Guwahati. The river is likely to touch its danger mark of 49.68 m by tomorrow morning or noon. Due to rains in Meghalaya, the river Kopili is also rising rapidly which will also contribute to the flood in Guwahati. Waters from the Dhansiri (N) will also add to the flow at Guwahati.
