Bureaucratic reshuffle in Assam; DSP's transferred

GUWAHATI: Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime) Guwahati Jayant Singh has been transferred and posted as Superintendant of Police, Dima Hasao, replacing Bikram Gogoi.

Superintendent of Police (Vigilance and Anti Corruption-I) Guwahati Suneet Sharma has been allowed to hold additional charge of Superintendant of Police (Chief Minister's Special Vigilance Cell) Guwahati in addition to his existing duties until further order, replacing Rosie Kalita. Kalita has been posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime), Guwahati, replacing Jayant Singh.

Deputy Superintendant of Police (HQ) Dima Hasao Surya Kanta Morang has been transferred and posted as Deputy Superintendant of Police, 21st AP (IR) Bn. Katlichera, Hailakandi. Assistant Commandant, 2nd APBn, Makum Borkiri Terang has been transferred and posted as Deputy Superintendant of Police (HQ), Dima Hasao, replacing Surya Kanta Morang.
