Casual Leave under Matri Pitri Vandana on Feb 9 & 10 2023

GUWAHATI: The State Government will allow its employees to avail of special casual leave under the Matri-Pitri Vandana Scheme on February 9 and 10, 2023. The employees can utilize this leave along with February 11, 2023 (second Saturday) and February 12, 2023 (Sunday). The employees will have to apply for this casual leave in the portal concerned. GAD (General Administration Department) notified this on Wednesday.

The employees last availed of this casual leave on January 6 and 7, 2022. The State Government introduced the Matri-Pitri Vandana Scheme to enable employees to spend quality time with their parents and other family members.
