CISF North East Sector, CISF Guwahati carried out sapling plantation drive

GUWHATI: The CISF North East Sector, CISF Guwahati carried out a sapling plantation drive on Wednesday in collaboration with the Forest Department, Assam on the occasion of the first Day of Van Mahotsav. As a part of the plantation drive exercise carried out by CISF in the North East Region, a total of 2000 saplings were planted on Wednesday. Forest Minister Parimal Suklabaidya was the chief guest. All the units of CISF North East Sector target to plant 50,000 saplings across districts of Assam, Arunachal, Meghalaya and Nagaland by the end of this year.
