GUWAHATI: Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanata Biswa Sarma visited the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) alliance partner Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) head office in Ambari, Guwahati.

In the meeting, AGP's top brass leader and party president and state minister Atul Bora along with working president and state health minister Keshab Mahanta and senior leader Phani Bhushan Choudhury among others were present while interacting with the chief minister.

Speaking on the occasion, AGP president and Minister Atul Bora said that the visit of Assam Chief Minister at the party office will further strengthen the alliance with the BJP party in the future days. "We will provide all types of assistance to the chief minister for the development of the state," Atul Bora added.

On the other hand, AGP's working president and minister Kesab Mahanta said, "After 20 years a chief minister have visited the party office here and it itself an important thing in our social life."

Meanwhile, CM Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma stressed on working together for the welfare and development of the state.
