CM Sarbananda Sonowal to launched 'Kritagyota' scheme on October 1

GUWAHATI: Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal will launch the 'Kritagyota' scheme on October 1.

Under this scheme, the Assam government is planning to issue the pension orders of school-level teachers and panchayat employees on the very day they retire from services. "The pilot project of this scheme named 'Kritagyota' (Gratitude), will commence in Kamrup (Metro)," said Pension & Public Grievances Minister Phani Bhushan Choudhury.

He elaborated, "The Directorate of Pension deals with the cases related to only the retired teachers, Panchayat employees and a few others. The work on online entry of data related to the teachers in Kamrup (Metro) will commence soon.
