Construction of 60-ft Lord Rama idol underway in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: As a part of the preparations for the upcoming Durga Puja, the Pandu New Colony Durga Puja committee is preparing a massive idol of Lord Rama as a part of the celebrations. The Jai Hind Club has selected the theme of Ramayana for the platinum jubilee edition of the Sarbojanin Shree Shree Durga Puja Committee. The massive 60-foot-tall structure is part of this celebration.
