GUWAHATI: The 'Core Group for Tibetan Cause' (CGTC) – India, on Tuesday, condemned the 'evil acts' and wrong doing of China.
Addressing the media persons, CGTC regional convenor of north-eastern region Soumyadeep Datta alleged that the COVID-19 pandemic which has left the entire world rattled is the brainchild of China.
"The world is battling the dreaded disease of COVID-19 pandemic which had originated from the Chinese city of Wuhan. The suppression and misinformation regarding the disease has led to the death of hundreds of thousands lives around the world and crippling the global economy. It has all shown the Chinese model of deceit and oppression. The world must stop China with such evil intentions to destruct the world for selfish goals. These are all crimes against humanity," Datta said.
The CGTC condemned the repeated acts of aggression of China which resulted in the face-off between Indian and Chinese soldiers in Galwan Valley of Ladakh killing 20 Indian soldiers on the midnight of June 15, 2020 and the skirmish between Indian and Chinese soldiers at the southern bank of Pangong Lake on the night of August 29-30, 2020 resulted in the death of SFF Coy leader Nyima Tenzin.
"This clearly shows the evil mentality of the Chinese regime. The CGTC - India in its highest voice strongly condemned the heinous act and pay homage to the brave Indian jawans who laid their lives for the motherland," Datta asserted.
"The world is fed up of China for its acts of dishonesty and lies. China is exposed in front of the world. The major countries of the world are coming together to make China accountable for its deeds. The Indian masses are totally up against Communist China for its repeated acts of aggression. There is a movement built up in India to boycott China at every level. People are boycotting Chinese goods and services to protest the evil acts of China. Hence we the CGTC – India in our highest voice condemn China for all its evil deeds and at the same time urge all our brothers and sisters to stand in solidarity with our jawans and with the country," Datta added.
Further, the CGTC urged the Centre to confer the Bharat Ratna on Dalai Lama. It also held a candle-light tribute at Dighalipukhuri to pay homage to the martyred soldiers.
