GUWAHATI: Cotton University (CU) released tentative cut-off marks for higher secondary admission into the arts and science stream. The admission process for HS admission will start soon. The required score for the higher secondary science stream is 87%, according to reports. The cut-off score for the arts stream is 84 per cent.

However, the percentage may vary depending on the number of applicants. Currently, there are 180 seats available in the arts stream and about 320 seats in the science stream. Students who have applied using the DARPAN website must also apply via the Cotton University website. Conversely, Cotton University will notify students who weren’t able to submit an application for admission about the remaining vacant seats that will be available at the university. The university will create a merit list based on the results of the qualifying exam that each candidate took. The Cotton University merit list students will then be contacted for counselling and the seat allocation procedure.
