DC Pallav Gopal Jha reviewed 'Mission Basundhara' scheme

GUWAHATI: Guwahati Metro Deputy Commissioner Pallav Gopal Jha reviewed the progress of the 'Misson Basundhara' scheme in the district on Saturday. The meeting held in this regard was also attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Gunajit Roy Choudhury and circle officers of various revenue circles.

The Department of Revenue & Disaster Management launched 'Mission Basundhara' as a flagship programme in October. The Mission has been developed in a bid to streamline and resolve and to make land revenue services more accessible to citizens.

Jha also focused on the 'Svamitva' scheme that aims to provide an integrated property-validation solution in the rural areas. The progress of the 'Arunodoi' scheme was also reviewed along with other ongoing schemes. The DC directed the officials to ensure that the citizens and beneficiaries don't face any hassle while availing the schemes.
