Dispur Police arrested 11 thieves in Guwahati

GUWAHATI : The Dispur Police has arrested 11 thieves in connection to two different cases on Monday.

The thieves were arrested from different areas of the city including Six Mile, Hengrabari, and Saru Motoria in connection to the following cases – 2227/21 U/S 380 IPC and 2358/21 U/S 392 IPC. The police have recovered two laptops, electric wires, coins and two mobile phones from their possession.

The arrested persons are – Baharul Islam (28) from Aulatoli Gaon in Goalpara, Chotu Ali (26) from Tanglihat in Darrang, Rahul Ali (20) from Mukalmua in Nalbari, Rafique Hussain (22) from Kharupetia in Darrang, Sahid Hussain (30) from Muslm Patti in Nalbari, Babul Ali (28) from Gariya Sukla in Bapeta, Rajesh Sahu (21) from Ulubari, Umananda Das (19) from Abhaypur in Kamrup, Bikramjit Konch (23) from Latasil in Kamrup (Metro), Saibul Islam (23) from Kogasia Village in Barpeta, and Saibul Islam (39) from Sabaruddin Village in Barpeta.
