Dispur Police detained Assam NSUI Vice President Zubair Anam

GUWAHATI: Assam NSUI vice president Zubair Anam was detained by the Dispur Police on Friday from ABC area. As per police sources, a case was registered against Anam for his involvement in vandalism during the anti-CAA (Citizenship Amendment Act) protests on December 11 and 12 last year.

As per reports, he was addressing a press meet at Rajiv Bhawan following which he was detained by the police. The youth leader was absconding from many days and currently is being interrogated at Dispur Police Station.
