Do not cut salaries, ATDC chairman Jayanta Malla Baruah tells restaurants

GUWAHATI: The Assam Tourism Development Corporation (ATDC) chairman Jayanta Malla Baruah, on Saturday, appealed to the restaurant bodies to not cut salaries of its employees. Baruah advised the organizations to not terminate or deduct the wages of the employees. He made the appeal after holding a meeting with ATDC members. Further, the chairman said that the Ambubachi Mela will not be held as a preventive measure against the COVID outbreak.
