Drug peddler arrested with heroin in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: Acting on a tip-off, the Fatasil Ambari police on Tuesday arrested one Najimuddin Ahmed of Nalbari and seized nine containers with 12 gm of suspected heroin. Police sources said that a case (130/22 U/S 21(a)/ 29 NDPS Act, 1985) has been registered and the arrested person has since been forwarded to judicial custody.
