Eid al-Adha To Be Observed Across Assam

GUWAHATI: Eid al-Adha will be observed across Assam on Monday with traditional fervour and gaiety. Governor Prof. Jagdish Mukhi greeted the people of the State on the holy festival. “Since Eid symbolizes sacrifice we should imbibe within us the core spirit of the festival,” Mukhi said. Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal said that the festival will further strengthen brotherhood and unity among all sections of people in the State. State BJP president Ranjeet Kumar Dass and APCC president Ripun Bora have also greeted the people.
