Fake doctor caught at Tetelia in Guwahati

DIMORIA: A fake doctor was apprehended on Tuesday at Tetelia. According to sources, the fake doctor, identified as Rupchand Ali, used to sell prescription drugs listed under Schedule H of the Drugs and Cosmetic Rules, 1945 without any license.

Local people grew suspicious about his activities and on Tuesday, they handed him over to the police. Ali later said that he used to bring the drugs from Barpeta. He had only studied till Class X and was masquerading as a doctor.
