Fake State Level Police Recruitment Board notice circulated on social media

GUWAHATI: At a time when the SI recruitment is drawing a lot of flake, a fake notice of the SLPRB (State Level Police Recruitment Board) is being circulated on social media. The notice is appealing to candidates to apply for a constable job at the Assam Police. With fake signatures of the Chairman of SLPRB, the notice quickly went viral on social media and was later noticed by the Assam Police.

In this regard, the Assam Police on Wednesday took to its twitter handle and stated that strict action will be taken against the persons circulating such news. "Strict action will be taken against those found sharing and promoting such mala fide content," tweeted the Assam Police.
