Felicitation Ceremony Held In Army Public School, Narangi

GUWAHATI: The Felicitation Ceremony of the students of Army Public School, Narangi, for their performance in AISSCE 2018-2019 was held on May 17, 2019. Brigadier Arun Kumar Pandey, Chairman, Army Public School, Narangi was welcomed by Monmayuri D Borkotoky, on behalf of the Principal, Mrinali Chowdhary.

The Felicitation Ceremony began with a rendition of a beautiful song that heralded a new era in education and was followed by the welcome address of the principal. In her welcome address, Mrinali Chowdhary announced the sterling performance of students of all streams. There were 142 students appearing for AISSCE 2018-2019. There were 13 students who scored above 95%, 21 students who scored above 85% and 47 students who scored above 80%. The stream toppers were at first felicitated by Brigadier Arun Kumar Pandey, the Chairman.

Poonam Dey topped Humanities with a score of 97.4%, Nabadeep Barman topped Science with a score of 95.8% and Anshuman Ghosh topped Commerce with a score of 95.2%. The other students scoring above 95% from the three streams were also felicitated. The stream toppers were invited to share their experience. The parents’ role is of paramount importance.

Acknowledging the same, Umananda Doley and Arup Hazarika were requested to speak of their association with the school. They highlighted the proactive and perceptive role played by the teachers every step of the way. The Felicitation Ceremony ended with Monmoyuri Borkotoky thanking the Brigadier Arun Kumar Pandey and the parents for their presence, stated a press release.
