Tarun Gogoi readmitted to GMCH
Guwahati: Former Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi has been re-admitted to Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH). He was rushed to the hospital on Sunday night after he complained of breathing problems. Three-time Chief Minister Gogoi is presently in the ICU.
Gogoi was earlier admitted to GMCH after he tested positive for COVID-19 on August 26. After battling with the virus for 60 days at GMCH, he finally tested negative and was discharged by the hospital.
86-years-old Tarun Gogoi was suffering from post-COVID complications, for which government deputed a team of doctors for treatment at his official residence.
