Food Safety Department Issued Closure Notice to Philips Bakery

GUWAHATI: The Food Safety Department under Kamrup (Metropolitan) district administration has issued a seven-day closure notice to Philips Bakery situated in Hatigaon area. The notice was issued after the officials of Food Safety department conducted an inspection at the factory of Philips Bakery. The inspection had found that procedures to maintain hygiene were not adhered to while making bakery products at the factory. The officials also conducted an inspection at the factory of Repose Bakery at Panjabari and found maintaining hygiene there.
