Fraud arrested by Jalukbari Police at Khanamukh

GUWAHATI: Jalukbari Police arrested a person, Hridayananda Das, for taking money online from various candidates with the promise of ensuring their jobs in NF Railway. He was arrested from Orchid Garden at Khanamukh.

Das hails from Orissa. A case was registered against Das by Vidyanath Jha from whom he took Rs 1.20 lakh with the promise of giving him a clerical job in NF Railway. Das identifies himself as an NF Railway engineer.
