GMCH conducts medical education ‘SEPSIS’ A GLOBAL HEALTH THREAT

 GUWAHATI: Department Biochemistry, Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) conducted a continuing medical education on ‘SEPSIS’, A GLOBAL HEALTH THREAT. See it, stop it, and survive it’ on Saturday. Dr. Malavika Barman, Assistant Professor and Principal i/c IPMS, GMCH, was the organising chairperson, and Dr. Elteza T. Jahir, Assistant Professor, was the organising secretary.

Principal and Chief Superintendent GMCH Prof. (Dr.) Achyut C. Baishya was the Chief Guest of the Inaugural Function. Prof. Dr. Mauchumi S. Pathak, HOD of Biochemistry, gave the welcome address. Prof. Joydev Sarma, Vice Principal, GMCH; Prof. (DN) Basanta Baishya, Director, CN Centre, GMCH; and Prof. (Dr.) P.P. Das, Staff President, GMCH, were the guests of honour. Dr. Sasanka Kumar Barua administrative head of Gauhati Super speciality hospital were also present, stated a press release.
