Gorukhuti-Dhalpur incident: Assam Human Rights Commission notice to Dispur

GUWAHATI: The AHRC (Assam Human Rights Commission) has sought a reply from the Principal Secretary, Home & Political Department, as to whether a commission under the 'Commission of Enquiry Act-1952', has been instituted to inquire into the incident that took place at the Gorukhuti-Dhalpur area in Darrang where eviction took place. The AHRC has given 21 days time for the Government of Assam to reply.
