Guinness Book of World Records: Accommodation for Bihu recital

GUWAHATI: The State Government is planning to make it to the Guinness Book of World Records with the largest-ever Bihu Dance recital with the participation of 11,000 Bihu dancers during the Rongali Bihu at Sarusajai Stadium.

A meeting was held with Dr. Dhrubajyoti Hazarika, the Additional Deputy Commissioner of Kamrup Metropolitan District, and different restaurant and hotel proprietors in order to make arrangements for the accommodation of 11,000 dancers with the dhulias.

Hazarika directed everyone in the meeting to make proper arrangements for food, too.
