Guwahati: 37882 forms received in Kamrup (M) for revision of Photo Electoral Rolls

Guwahati: The office of the election officer, Kamrup Metropolitan Election District, stated that disposal of claims and objections is going on, and a total of 37882 forms have been received for disposal of claims and objections till date.

In the ongoing Special Summary Revision of Photo Electoral Rolls in respect of Dispur, Dimoria (SC), New Guwahati, Guwahati Central, and Jalukbari LACs of Kamrup Metropolitan Election District, a total of 7313 accepted forms have been updated in the e-roll.

A total of 10312 forms were received in Dispur LAC and 1697 forms were updated in the e-roll. In Dimoria (SC) LAC, 7198 forms were received and 1848 were updated. A total of 5550 forms were received in New Guwahati LAC, and 1043 forms were updated. In Guwahati Central LAC, 7605 forms were received, and 1148 were updated in the e-roll. In the fifth LAC of Jalukbari, 7217 forms were received and 1577 were updated in the e-roll.
