Guwahati Jal Board announces resumption of water supply in Hatigarh

GUWAHATI: The Guwahati Jal Board (GJB) finally announced the resumption of the water supply in the greater Hatigarh locality on Tuesday. Making the announcement over social media site X, the agency said that water supply would resume at 1 PM on Friday. This development came to light after the recent incident of water pipeline leakage that took place in the Harigarh Chariali locality of the city on Tuesday, following which the water supply remained suspended in the DMA6G4 area.
