GUWAHATI: A 19-year-old girl identified as Tazmina Ahmen was found dead inside Mihir Kiran Girl’s hostel at Sarvodaya Path in the Bhangagarh area of Guwahati. She was allegedly found hanging inside the bathroom of her hostel room. A resident of Kokrajhar district under the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) had come to Guwahati for medical coaching.

According to a report, Tazmina was discovered hanging inside the bathroom by her mother, who was visiting the city. Two of her roommates were also present in the hostel when her mother discovered Tazmina's lifeless body.

Furthermore, Bhangagarh police arrived on the spot and began an inquiry.

Meanwhile, a 16-year-old girl committed suicide in Ganigram of Cachar district after failing to pass the HSLC exam.

Meanwhile, recently, a woman from Assam's Udalguri district purportedly committed suicide in Bengaluru who was identified as Albina Basumatary lived in Bengaluru, and ran a beauty salon there.

Albina apparently committed suicide after being betrayed by her lover, according to sources. She was allegedly in a relationship with a man named Gokul Rabha.

Albina was said to be three months pregnant. However, after learning of her pregnancy, Gokul Rabha refused to marry her. Albina opted to go to the extreme as a result of this.

On the other hand, a West Bengal Police team arrived in Dibrugarh, Assam, to exhume the body of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur student Faizan Ahmed, who was found in half-melted condition in a hostel room at the IIT Kharagpur on October 14.

The Calcutta High Court ordered that Faizan be exhumed from a burial place in Dibrugarh town in order to conduct a second post-mortem at the Medical College and Hospital, Calcutta.

According to reports, a four-man police squad from Bengal's Kharagpur has arrived in Dibrugarh to carry out the order of the Calcutta High Court.
