Guwahati Municipal Corporation notifies ward delimitation from 31 to 60

GUWAHATI: The Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC) has formally notified the final delimitation of GMC wards from 31 to 60.

A Notification signed by GMC Commissioner Devasish Sharma was issued to this effect on Monday, which stated that the final delimitation was done after suggestions/ objections received from stakeholders were considered by officials and "the draft delimitation order was modified, wherever feasible and necessary."

The final schedule of the relevant boundaries and map has been placed for information of public at the GMC offices, Panbazar and Uzanbazar; the DC's office, Kamrup (M), Panbazar; Circle Office, Guwahati (Sadar) and Dispur; all Divisional Offices of the GMC; and website of the GMC www.gmc.assam.gov.in, the Notification stated.
