Guwahati Municipal Corporation seals another sweet manufacturing unit

GUWAHATI: The Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC) sealed the renowned sweet shop Misti Mukh's manufacturing unit on Friday. This decision was taken because of the severely unhygienic conditions on the premises of its manufacturing plant.

The officials mentioned that the unit was sealed following the discovery that the sweets were mane and stored in very unhygienic conditions. The officials also discovered that the items are being made in a very pitiable condition with no regard to basic human hygiene, making the products unsafe for consumption. The authorities have not levied any fines on them as of now. GMC also sealed Muscle World Gym for non-production of a trade licence on Friday.
