Guwahati Municipal Corporation seals two eateries in city

GUWAHATI: The Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC) sealed two eateries for their failure to maintain a hygienic environment and adhere to the sanitation guidelines fixed by the authorities on Wednesday. Both eateries are located on the GS Road in Guwahati, and one of them goes by the name of Sanjay Hotel. Heavy penalties have also been imposed on the owners of these food businesses for running them without proper trade licences.
