Guwahati Municipal Corporation staff undergoes training

GUWAHATI: In view of better service delivery to the public, the Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC) has organized a series of training to enhance the capability of the staff in office procedure, court procedures, filing system, RTI matters and mode of communication etc.

The training has been imparted by Babulal Sarma, ACS (Retired) as a resource person. This type of programme being organized for the first has been hailed by the general staff of the Corporation. Efficacy of the training will be assessed by the GMC authority and further decision will be taken to make the training more effective.

The training was inaugurated by GMC Commissioner Ghanshyam Dass on December 18.
